Tee hee. Thanks for that piece of cooking trivia. I used to make a "Burmese" curry from Charmaine Solomon's Asian cookbook. A friend loved it, but when she described it to a Burmese woman she met, the response was "It sounds very nice. But why do they call it Burmese?"!
