That lamb shank does look good!
And i agree you get what you pay for, although it is less heart breaking when you spend less and are disappointed then when you pay full price and are disappointed.


I always tend to think that if a restaurant is offering a discount voucher it's because the quality is not good enough. Of course, there are exceptions (like the fixed priced meals during the Sydney Food Festival, for example). Too bad you found so many cons (especially the wine!) but at least you weren't expecting much.

Exactly, I would have hated to pay full price for that duck!

I think this place has the potential to be great, because the decor and atmosphere really are amazing - they just need to get some of their dishes spot on. Service was friendly but vague.
